Magellan Circle has signed six new contracts with national and
European institutions, consolidating its role as a key partner in promoting sustainability,
innovation, and regional representation at the European level. The new projects—ranging
from environmental policies to regional development, entrepreneurship, and the circular
economy—confirm Magellan Circle’s growing influence as a bridge between Portugal and the
European Union. Thanks to its expertise in policy intelligence, communication, and
international relations, the company continues to make an impact in various strategic areas.
Among its new initiatives, Magellan Circle has been commissioned by the European
Environment Agency (EEA) to conduct a study aimed at identifying solutions to improve the
circularity of bio-based and biodegradable waste in Europe. The project supports the EEA’s
agenda on sustainability and the circular economy and is part of the European Green Deal and
the Action Plan for the Circular Economy. The work involves policy mapping, stakeholder
engagement, and the preparation of a comprehensive analysis with recommendations to
strengthen European initiatives in the field of circularity.
