Circle consolidates its role as
a leader in the construction of international digital corridors.
In his speech in Mumbai, as part of the event “Maritime Corridors: Unlocking Trade through
Strategic Connectivity”, organised by DP World during India Maritime Week 2025, CEO Luca
Abatello illustrated how Europe, thanks in part to the TEN-T networks, represents a model of
integration of trade and logistics systems on a continental scale.
Abatello emphasised how common technical standards (e.g. new eFTI data set), shared
investments (rail infrastructure) and process digitalisation enable efficient and coordinated
management of trade flows, promoting the creation of resilient and secure multimodal
corridors beyond European borders, with the next natural focus areas being India, North
Africa and the Middle East.
