Offshore Wind Revolution: Palermo hosts key event on the future of offshore wind power in Italy

Magellan Circle announces the return of Offshore Wind Revolution, an event organised in
collaboration with the Port System Authority of Western Sicily, which will bring together the
entire national and international offshore wind energy supply chain in Palermo on October 7
and 8, 2025 to discuss, with realism and a constructive spirit, the opportunities and main

Offshore Wind Revolution is currently the only event in Italy that brings together the main
players in the sector, creating a space for transparent discussion on current challenges and
the path forward. Through closed working groups, possible solutions will be analysed to break
the regulatory and political deadlock, reduce costs and risks through innovation and
standardisation, bridge the infrastructure gap in ports and develop the skills needed to
support employment linked to the energy transition
