Circle Group continues the evolution of the PCS in the Ports of Palermo and Western Sicily

Circle is working on the adaptation and implementation of the SINFOMAR Port Community System
(PCS) for the Port System Authority of the Western Sicily Sea, within the framework of the
PNRR for the digitisation of the logistics chain.
The system serves as a central platform for the delivery of interoperable digital services,
improving cohesion among port community actors and operational efficiency. Activated
modules include those for ship management, road flows, buffer zones and driver tracking,
with full integration to public and private systems.
The project will also include advanced functionalities such as digital customs management
of the SU.Do.Co. single window, interoperability with the eFTI gate for electronic transport
information and documents, and the development of a predictive component based on
artificial intelligence to analyse traffic flows and optimise access to port gates. Modules for
monitoring dangerous goods, managing port charges, batch booking and passenger data
processing according to the IMO FAL 6 standard will also be included, with specific
adaptations to the context of the port of Palermo
