Circle and Setramar Group,
a leading terminal operator in the “dry bulk” and logistics sector operating in the port of
Ravenna, announce the launch of a collaboration aimed at the digitalization of operational
and documentary processes of the group companies active in terminal management and
freight forwarding services.
The initiative is part of the group’s broader path of innovation and modernization of its
information and operational systems and includes an analysis of operational processes and
software systems used in terminal operations (TOS) and logistics (TMS), with the objective
of improving operational efficiency, process security and the speed of information and
document flow management.
Within the project, particular attention will be devoted to the digitalization of transport
documents, through the introduction of solutions for the electronic management of e-CMR
and e-DDT, in line with the evolution of European regulations and the ongoing innovation
processes impacting the transport and logistics sector. The initiative also falls within the LogIN
Business program, aimed at promoting digitalization and interoperability across the logistics
supply chain.
